When harsh words are said to me
I feel weak at heart and all crumbly
My head spins and my eyes blur
Hurtful words did he have to utter?
I feel like crying , I feel so frustrated
Why do people show such hatred
A lump in my throat, as big as a ball
I feel a tear begin to fall
Then comes the harder part a little bit later
When he asks for forgiveness to make things better
I made a mistake, lost my temper
Would you forget my earlier ill-manner?
I feel so much pain , I don\'t want to look
My pride overtakes my mercy book
I turn my face and look the other way
Maybe this will make him pay
But,I fight it hard and begin to smile
Its alright I say ,ill close the file
I await the hug and hold on tight
I lose all will to start a fight!
