MuslimWays presents; “Photography Competition (Nature) 2007” photo contest… We are giving away prizes to the 1st 2nd and 3rd winners!

Whether you are an amateur or a professional photographer, you are invited to send us your best shots related to the categories of nature and landscape.

Theme: Nature & Landscapes

Despite disturbing threats to our environment, the earth still grants us and the wildlife breathtaking plants, vegetation, natural scenes and countryside that offer tranquility to appease our rushed and sometimes complicated lives. A keen eye can translate that tranquility into an image that speaks volumes… perhaps loud enough to impact environmental issues or simply create consciousness of how beautiful this earth really is.

Submitting:

You can participate in this competition by simply attaching the image/s via email and sending it to: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Although it is not essential for you to mention what camera, mega pixel, phone model or location, it is preferred if possible.

Voting:

Once the closing date has passed, and we have received your photographs, we will list them on our online gallery, where you and other viewers will have the opportunity to vote for your favourite picture. The photos with the most votes will win. Please note the online gallery will go live on Wednesday 1st August 2007. Voting closes on Saturday 15th September 2007, so you only have 15 days to vote.

To avoid hoax voting we will require the visitors to sign-up in order to vote, otherwise it may be unfair on others. However you may pass on the link to your friends and family members to vote for their favourite photo.

Rules:

• Only 2 photographs to be submitted per person.

• Entries from outside of the UK will be accepted; however prizes will not be given if a winner due to postage cost.

• Slight modification using photo editors (such as Photoshop, GIMP) are allowed, however not undesirable.

• Photos must NOT include images of living creatures (i.e. human and animals).
